S.O.S. Editing

At the end of the piece I layered all the sounds over each other & created kind of a rhythm as well, this was to create the effect that the Head Chef has gone to 'boiling point' and has reached his peak of being stressed before he storms out of the kitchen. The volume was also raised on the sounds to create the sense of claustrophobia, stress & panic.
When there is speech from the Head Chef, Waiter & Su Chef I panned the sound from the left speaker & the right speaker to create the effect that they are shouting at each other from end of the kitchen to the other.
Panned the sounds of footsteps from the left speaker to the right speaker & vice versa while at the same time made the volume silent to loud to silent again to create a sense of someone walking around the room and give extra effect of movement into the kitchen.
Red Columns are atmosphere recordings of clattering plates, extractor fans, boiling water & pot washing to create a stronger feel of being inside a kitchen. The volume was lowered to create a sense of them being further away in the kitchen but also so they did not dominate over the other key sounds.
